Atlantic City Worries About Gambling Expansion in Delaware
Atlantic City is a little bit confused with the idea to expand gambling in Delaware. Three racetracks featuring slot machines have never worried Atlantic City but intention to add other games to the existing gaming spots can become a problem for the city.
The state of Delaware is going to approve sports betting and table games in the area. The plan to run such games as roulette, blackjack and craps bothers much the state's neighbor because it can influence the revenue of Atlantic City.
It is already possible to say about the revenue decline in Atlantic City that was caused mostly by the introduction of slots parlors in the neighboring New York and Pennsylvania. It is also expected that under the threat of decline Pennsylvania will open full-packed casinos and this will be even worse for Atlantic City.
According to the experts, in order to escape any troubles and new declines in gambling business Atlantic City needs to introduce something new that its competitors do not have, such as top-name hotels and restaurants. Such innovations will surely draw more players to Atlantic City.
